Meet Alex Brosky – Kentucky Appraiser
Alex holds a Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University. He served in the United States Marine Corps and is a Desert Storm veteran. From Louisville, Kentucky, he currently resides in Elizabethtown, Kentucky with his wife, Rachel, and three children, Samuel, Paul, and Madeline. He enjoys time with his family, playing tennis, fine dining, and traveling.
3 Favorite Things About His Job
1. Alex’s favorite part of his job is seeing the different parts of the state, meeting people, and getting to know them and their businesses. He’s fascinated by the many different ways people conduct commerce and the way they are connected to their communities.
2. While traveling around the state, Alex enjoys finding a local place to eat lunch. These places always have great food, fun people to talk to, and a unique way to learn about what’s “really” happening in a local community.
3. Finally, Alex loves that our data resources and collective expertise allow us to thoroughly and promptly present appraisal reports that meet and exceed our clients’ expectations.
What Are Some Trends That You’re Seeing?
A significant trend in the appraisal industry is data standardization. This involves creating and accessing a database that plots sales and economic trends that can be quantified, then that’s used in valuation methods. Our firm has embraced this technology and we are working on improving our data resources and making them both evergreen in current trending and flexible as the market changes.
