As commercial appraisers, data is our currency. Maybe we’re geeks but we love to crunch numbers, analyze trends, and evaluate cash flows. That’s why we’re big fans and supporters of CoStar, a data service provider and listing service for commercial property across the United States. We started using their data a couple of years back in the States of Kentucky, Tennessee, and Georgia and will soon being using their data nationwide.
Their database is extensive and gives us the flexibility to evaluate property on a regional basis. I’m not being paid to advertise for these guys. I just admire what they do and the services they provide.
