This spreadsheet is the result of hundreds of hours of work in an attempt to automate the appraisal process – to become more efficient at my work in analyzing property. It continues to be a work in progress and I make modifications to it often. I’m sharing this with you in the hopes that it will make your life a little easier as well. There are a number of hidden sheets included in this workbook. Simply go to the Home Tab and click Format>Hide and Unhide>Unhide Sheet and you will be presented with a selection of worksheets. As with most things in life that are free, you may find mistakes or formatting inconsistencies. If you do, please let me know so I can correct them. In the meantime, I hope you will find this tool to be useful.
This spreadsheet may especially be useful for MAI Candidates working on their demonstration appraisal report. It was working on my own demonstration appraisal report that I began this project. Just click on the excel icon at the bottom right and you can download the workbook.
Hi Russell. Great blog! I got to your website by searching google for examples of using multiple linear regression for house valuation purposes. In the process, I stumbled upon this old post. Your MAI spreadsheet is exactly what I’m looking for! Unfortunately, the link is down for some reason. Is there any chance you would consider emailing it to me?
Hi Russell — same concern as previous post – no active link anymore. Any chance you can email it to me as well?
Many thanks,
Chad
